I have an ancestor who came on the Mayflower and came to Plymouth Mayflower families through five generations : descendants of the Pilgrims who landed at Plymouth, Mass., December 1620 - husband and father William White (D6XT-GJT) and wife and mother Susanna Jackson (LXSW-DDM).  William died in 1620 but his son, Resolved White (L5B7-N5K) who was 5 years old in 1620 and died in 1687.  He married Judith Vassall (LRMB-VMC).  through the line of Sarah Jane Johns, her mother was Sarah Hightower.  From me back to Resolved White is 12 generations.

Christmas tridition
CHRISTMAS TRIDITION: "Box small brown paper bags with no ribbon or string with peppermint candy cane, a couple of nuts and apple or orange in each bag for grandchildren and send to each of the children so each grandchild with have a bag with his name on the bag.' This is the gift dad got on a big Christmas when he was a little boy and the gift he gave each of his grandchildren on Christmas. There was small brown bag for each grand child under the Christmas tree on the farm."
