Keeping the Sabbath Day holy is very important.  It has been described as  "A Temple in Time". In ancient times breaking the Sabbath was an offences punishable by death. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.” (Exodus 31:15)
