Prioritized Daily Task 
Debbie and I had our sacrament meeting a little after noon.  I sent the family a copy of Debbie's talk.Little Lambs

Every once in a while, a ewe will give birth to a lamb and reject 

it. There are many reasons she may do this. If the lamb is 

returned to the ewe, the mother may even kick the poor animal 

away. Once a ewe rejects one of her lambs, she will never 

change her mind. 

These little lambs will hang their heads so low that it looks like 

something is wrong with its neck. Their spirit is broken. These 

lambs are called “bummer lambs.” 

Unless the shepherd intervenes, that lamb will die, rejected and 

alone. So, do you know what the shepherd does? He takes that 

rejected little one into his home, hand-feeds it and keep it warm 

by the fire. He will wrap it up with blankets and hold it to his 

chest 

so the bummer can hear his heartbeat.

Once the lamb is strong enough, the shepherd will place it back 

in the field with the rest of the flock. But that sheep never forgets 

how the shepherd cared for him when his mother rejected him. 

When the shepherd calls for the flock, guess who runs to him 

first? That is right, the bummer sheep. He knows his voice 

intimately. It is not that the bummer lamb is loved more, it just 

knows intimately the one who loves it. It's not that it is loved 

more, it just believes it because it has experienced that love one 

on one. 

So many of us are bummer lambs, rejected and broken. But He 

is the good Shepherd. He cares for our every need and holds us 

close to His heart so we can hear His heart beat. We may be 

broken but we are deeply loved by the Shepherd.

I talked and/or face-timed most of the children.  I could tell Beth was down.  She is a little behind in her school work.  The children, Tucker, Maggie and Andrew start their online schooling tomorrow.  I face-timed Matthew and he sent me a picture of a 1,351 piece Lego star space ship, Bella put together, without anyone helping her.

At 5 PM we had a Zoom meeting with Cache, his family, Laura, George, the children, Jared, Jami, the children, Ryan, Stephanie, the children, Patrick, Anndalyn and the children.  He reported to us on his mission and answered questions.  He had 14 companions and served in 6 areas.  He read a chapter each day in the Book of Mormon before his mission and and on his mission he read it every 2 months while he was out on his mission.  His normal daily schedule was up at 6 AM, at 10 AM he and his companion would be out proselyting, at 8 AM he was back in his apartiment studying and training.  During his mission he served as a trainer, zone leader and assistant to the mission president.  In the Ghana West Mission in Africa there were missionaries from 31 different countries who spoke 21 different languages.  The last week of his mission he only slept 2 night because he was so busy trying to get the missionaries out of Ghana and the others in who were returning home.  He had to arrange travel, housing and food for them.  During the meeting Jodi and Tony got a text message from Elder Cooper Traveller he is catching a flight out of Buenos Aires, Argentina tomorrow morning at 7 AM and will be home tomorrow night.

At 6 PM I set in on a Hebrew language class, Lesson or Unit 7, for an hour.  Afterwards I went back to Elder Cache Traveller's report of his mission.
