Prioritized Daily Task
Luke Lively's 10th Birthday - Called and talked to Jason, his dad, and wished him a Merry Christmas but Luke was with his Aunt Robyn at the cabin and I could not reach her or anyone there. I left a message on her answering machine to wish Luke a happy birthday.
Debbie made Serbian palatchinke for brunch (Palatschinke is a thin crêpe-like variety of pancake of Greco-Roman origin. While the dessert is most common in South and West Slavic countries, it is also generally known in other parts of Central and Eastern Europe)
10:30 AM Beth took Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew over to Kent and Cyd Davis, their other grandparents to spend Christmas with them and some of their Davis' cousins. They are staying until Sunday evening before coming back and going to California Monday morning.
1:30 PM Debbie went over to see Laura, George and the children for a little while - Beth and I hung out at the house.
When Beth got home we faced-timed with Matthew, Melodie, Madeline, Bella, Ava and Grandma Vickie Whitson
We faced-timed with Michael, Autumn, Gavin, Blake, Grace and Lori Lynn Lively
We faced-timed with Rae Lynn, Ethan, Luke, Owen, Brody, Weston and Brett
Later Beth took dinner over to a friend's. Debbie and I watched Christmas movies on TV, read scriptures, and had prayer together. Afterward, I read in the Liahona, the first edition of the new church magazine, and in William Bartram's book of his travel and history in the southern British colonies in North America, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Carolinas, 1773-1778, until Beth got home.
